We invite abstracts focused on Flint-related work. Projects may be related to research, service, or education. Of particular interest are abstracts concerning health equity, pandemic response or effects, chronic illness, environment, or mental health, but all topics are welcome!

Abstract Submission Guidelines
We invite abstracts focused on Flint-related work. Projects may be related to research, service, or education. Of particular interest are abstracts concerning health equity, pandemic response or effects, chronic illness, environment, or mental health, but all topics are welcome! Submit an abstract for a poster and, optionally, for a brief oral presentation.

Abstract format:

Abstracts should be a maximum of 250 words.

Two formats are accepted for abstracts; a structured abstract presenting research data or an abstract focusing on lessons learned, recommendations, policy issues, etc.

The submission form will ask you a series of questions related to your abstract, including all authors and their affiliations.

Title, authors, affiliations, and the abstract itself should also be included as a single word document.

Please format abstracts using the following sections:

For structured research abstracts: Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion

For lessons learned/policy discussion: Issue, Description, Lessons Learned, Recommendations

Rules for submission:

All authors should have approved of the content of the abstract.

For accepted abstracts, at least one author must attend the HFRCC Research Symposium in Flint on September 29, 2023 to present their poster.

Abstracts accepted until July 24, 2023 at 5 PM.
You'll hear back from the HFRCC team about your abstract in late August.
