Description:
Super Science Friday is a multi-disciplinary, hands-on event that brings 600 middle school youth to the University of Michigan-Flint campus for experiential learning opportunities related to science. Middle school is a critical period in the development of young people, a time when many, often begin to lag in their mastery of science concepts. Studies have shown that field trips are an important resource that can boost interest and drive. The excitement of the day and change in teaching and learning style can be a catalyst for greater enthusiasm to achieve.
